Introduction

My name is Silvia Aceves-Flores and I am currently and SDC K-4th teacher for the Coachella Valley School District.  I returned to teaching in 2010 after six years as a stay-at-home mom.  I accidentally found my calling as an Educational Specialist while substitute teaching.  I believe in meeting students were they are academically, providing a positive learning environment, and rebuilding the love of learning student with disabilities have often lost. A Growth Mindset is for all Learners.
